Founded in the 1950s, Qinhuangdao Glass Industry Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd. (QGRDI) is one of the earliest scientific research and design units in China's glass industry. It mainly undertakes tasks such as engineering design of glass production lines, EPC projects both domestically and abroad, installation and commissioning, and production startup. QGRDI also develops various proprietary technologies and equipment for flat glass production lines; and provides services including engineering design, technological transformation, project contracting, and project supervision for industrial and civil constructional engineering. It is an international high-tech service enterprise integrating scientific research and development, engineering technology services, new technology promotion, and intelligent equipment manufacturing.
